Focus Areas

  • I lead with curiosity. Through research, observation and testing, I get to know the user’s needs, understand problems or uncover opportunities for design.

  • I work across a full arc — from defining what a brand or company stands for, to the details of how it shows up in product and experience.

  • I help leaders define their brand vision, clarify their story and refresh or redesign their visual identity — to resonate with it’s audience.

  • I lead design teams, but I prefer to go deep into the design myself. In the digital space I bring brands to life through the design of websites, mobile apps, and digital product experiences.

  • I bring brands to life by designing experiences across product, space, digital, and creative campaigns — including animations, illustrations, spatial environments, packaging & print etc.

  • Research helps me explore audience needs or questions. I translate the resulting insights into content strategy and weave the findings into engaging stories that scale across all brand touchpoints.

I have a passion for learning and for creating a positive impact in the world.

In my early career I led design teams in San Francisco for 7+ years. At
IDEO (a global design firm that helps companies innovate and grow), I led small and large scale projects across a wide range of industries. I am now freelancing from Berlin — mostly partnering with companies in healthcare, education, fin-tech, retail and culture.

I am a strategic thinker with an appetite for complex problem solving and high standards for quality. With deep expertise in visual communication, digital product development and design thinking, I am passionate about building great user experiences and impactful brands — from leading teams in research to uncover insights, to evolving brand strategy and visual identities, to shaping products and services.

My work has been recognized through numerous awards such as: Red Dot Award, Adobe Achievement Award, AIGA “Justified” Award, IDSA/IDEA Award.
